Yes it is the last day of September. Fall is in the air.
Cool nights, and sunny warm days. ilove this time of year.
A great reminder that with the fall comes the dryness of your skin.
Looking after your feet will carry you through the winter with a few good hints.
*drink lots of fluid to keep your skin hydrated
*moisturize daily, don't forget your feet, your heels are prone to cracks and that can grow deep and be a great breeding area for pain and infection.Use a good pumice stone, to remove dry skin and then a good cream.
*make sure you dry well between each toe, those dark tight area's also can be a place where infection can breed and cracks formed.
*wear good fitting socks and stable shoes, to decrease friction to all areas of your feet.
Keep posted for simples hints, for a healthy you and healthy foot care.

13 th Annual Foot care Conference
What a great day it was at the 13th Conference for Foot Care Nurses.
A beautiful setting at the Station Creek Golf Club in Gormley Ontario. Ruth Ruttan did an outstanding job in providing this educational day.The speakers, exhibits and networking completed the day. What a priviledge to be part of Foot Care in Healthcare
